Everything you
need to know
Liability Insurance
Liability insurance is required for all bookings at The Loft. We recommend Thimble.com — it’s fast, affordable, and you can get a policy in minutes from your phone before your session.
Bring Your Own Gear
You’re welcome to bring your own equipment, props, lighting, furniture, or backdrops. The space is yours for the duration of your booking.
Changing Area
The studio has a private changing area available for you and your clients. Additionally, two large bathrooms are located just outside the Loft.
Pets
We love pets — but please let Melissa know in advance. A $50 cleaning fee will apply
Charming Older Building
The Loft is located inside a beautiful historic building. Occasional maintenance situations like elevator service or AC may arise. Melissa will always notify you in advance and work with you to find the best solution.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
All rental payments are non-refundable, but we want to make sure life’s unexpected moments don’t leave you without options. If something comes up, you’re welcome to reschedule once at no charge — just let us know at least 24 hours before your session. Additional reschedules are possible for a $25 administrative fee per change. Please note that rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your start time cannot be accommodated, and the rental fee will be forfeited.
